  • Select the item in the content tree
  • Click on the Analytics tab

You are able to see the Page views and Average time on page over time for a time period.

You can switch from Content to Traffic sources to see where the page traffic is coming from.

There are many sources of analytics depending on what type of content you are working with:

  • The website using Kentico Analytics (basic), DDSN Analytics or  Google Analytics
  • Email Marketing using Kentico
  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • YouTube
  • LinkedIn
  • Instagram

When using analytics, you can't break anything so it's fine to have a go!

You can interrogate any data available so the most important thing to know is what question are you asking of the analytics and what represent an answer.

Google Analytics captures a wealth of real-time information about your website that can be filtered, segmented and interrogated to understand what is or has gone on. There is so much information captured and only one version of Google Analytics for everyone so there is often a bit of work to understand how to find out useful and real data.

Social Media Analytics

Generally, you would be looking to see if a particular post performed well and/or if your reach and likes have increased as a result of your efforts.
